My name is Allan Reynolds, and I am proudly seeking your vote to become your next Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. Currently, I am the Chief Financial Officer and Comptroller for the Nassau County Sheriffʼs Office overseeing all financial operations. I am a lifelong Nassau County resident, along with seven generations of my family. My Grandfather was the owner of Reynolds Oldsmobile on 8th Street from 1948 to 1988, before he retired and sold his business to Ron Anderson.
After College, I obtained multiple professional licenses related to financial services and worked as a financial advisor and mortgage broker for over six years. With a strong sense of loyalty and dedication to my home of Nassau County and a desire to work in the government sector, I have spent the last 17+
years in government finance and administration in the following positions:

As a Certified Government Finance Officer with the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, I will bring the expertise necessary to discharge the oath and duties of the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, whose office serves as the accountant and custodian of county funds. My experience in the Nassau County Tax Collectorʼs office prepared me to understand how your public funds are generated with a cycle of growth and collection that must be planned for each fiscal year. My experience with the Nassau County SheriffʼsOffice prepared me for understanding the criminal and civil court filing and records processes, as well as all the financial experience outlined above. My experience with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller prepared me to understand, execute, and attempt to revolutionize all other aspects of the office. In government service, the old adage applies: if you are not striving to improve, you end up going backward.

I graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1995. I attended the University of North Florida, where I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Services with a concentration in investments.
